  1. Thanks for the registry. I’m looking to buy a B at present, 65-69, if anyone has one they’re tired of.

    • You might post a “Want to Buy” in the Classified section

    • I have a very clean ’77 B, if interested. Thanks !

  2. I need to find a reliable Site for a VIN search. This VIN only has 13 Numbers. The regular search will not take any less than 17 numbers.
    One search says it’s a 1971 MGB Roadster. Yet another says it’s a 1976.

Also I want to know if there is a steel bumper for this car. This car came with a plastic bumper. No, this car came with an ugly plastic bumper!

I also want to locate a parts Manuel, and a restoration Manuel.

The car I bought is in complete disarray, and I need all the books and Manuel’s I can get my hands on.

    • I had a similar issue – my vin on the title now has 0000 in front of it. County clerk was wanting a bonded title on my 1970 B but it got cleared up pretty quick. You might try adding zeros in for your vin search.

    • hey Haynes manual is about the best
