1978 MG Midget For Sale: $1600 or best offer. White with black interior and wire wheels. In good shape and has about 40,000 miles. Does not run so she needs work. I don't know what is wrong with her, but she has been driven before but has been in my garage for several years. I really want her out of my garage so I can sell my house. If you are seriously interested, give me a call and leave a message. Kathy at 817 680 6865 (cell).
Thanks for your help,

If you’ve been in the TMGR for more than a few years, you will remember this car as the light green MGB owned by Jimmie Stewart, subsequently purchased by Mark Trosper and then by me.
This car was originally purchased from Reese Motors in Dallas in 1979. It’s always been a Texas car and always in the Dallas area, and has zero rust. It’s an easy starting and a great driving car, no problems for long trips. Nice performance upgrades (see below).
Features:
- New interior (Autumn Leaf)
- New paint (Mercedes dark blue metallic)
- Engine refreshed about 6,000 miles ago (new rings, bearings, cam, lifters)
- Kent Road cam (Victoria British 17-155)
- Double-roller timing chain
- Higher compression than stock for 1979 (like the earlier chrome-bumper engines)
- Peco header and Monza free-flow exhaust system
- 5-speed manual overdrive (English Ford Sierra) kit
- New Weber 32/36 DGV carburetor
- Sound system with trunk-mounted amplifier
- Mini-lite bolt-on (14”) wheels from Moss
- Excellent tires with about 6,000 miles
- Electronic Ignition
Asking $10,900.00. Contact Gene Tollini at (972) 221-5746 or

For Sale I have an MG engine with a sidedraft carb and 4spd manual transmission for sale. They were pulled from my Nash Metropoitain and had been swapped into the Nash by a prior owner in the 70s. When I bought the car 4 years ago, we were able to start the engine easily and drive it up on to the car trailer, but it was pulled from the car shortly after that.
$400 OBO I am located in Nevada, TX (SE Collin County, 20 minutes north of Rockwall). Contact Todd at
